Supporting 501(c)(3) Organizations in Our Community

The mission of the JB Griffin Memorial Foundation is to support our local community through grants to 501(c)(3) organizations serving Centre County, PA and in communities in which Shaner does business. Each year a primary beneficiary is chosen to receive a $50,000 grant. All other funds are distributed to 501(c)(3) organizations based on need.

Apply for Funding

We accept grant applications from local 501(c)(3) organizations throughout the year, with a due date of December 31st for funding requests for the following year. Our selection process is very competitive. Only registered 501(c)(3) organizations in Centre County, PA, are eligible and applicants must provide a copy of their annual operating budget, their most recent financial audit, and a plan of how funds are to be spent.
