Our signature fundraiser, the Annual Charity Golf Tournament provides essential funding for the JB Griffin Memorial Foundation. The tournament uses a scramble format, and players may enter as individuals, twosomes, or foursomes. Prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd and last place teams, the longest drive, and closest to the pin.
Our biggest event, our JB Griffin Classic has become one of the highlights of the summer in Centre County. To our caring supporters, the JB Griffin Memorial Foundation board of directors along with Shaner Hotel Group have decided not to host this annual fundraising golf tournament in 2023. We will continue to honor our donations following our foundation guidelines to charitable organization applicants. Please refer to this website for further information and updates.
